Former paramedic and Christian music artist Ryan Stevenson joins us to discuss finding our purpose as we search for Peace in Uncertain Times. Ryan shares that there’s no such thing as a wasted season, how to keep your mind fixed on things above, and that the common thread of humanity unites us. He shares how “God's ways are not my ways, He does mindblowing orchestration of the details of our lives,” and sings us a beautiful reminder in “Eye of the Storm.”

Speaker, author, and disability advocate Katherine Wolf of Hope Heals Ministries joins us as we search for Peace in Uncertain Times. Katherine discusses how life is a balance of being both good and hard, joyful and painful, and how those things aren’t mutually exclusive. She talks about how we can train ourselves to think joyful thoughts, and shares that “our constraints can become avenues for freedom.”

Neuropsychologist and author Dr. Michelle Bengtson joins us as we search for Peace in Uncertain Times to discuss how we can learn to break anxiety’s grip on us and manage it by turning to God. Dr. Bengtson reassures us that God has already provided us with the weapons we need to defeat fear, and that “worry, fear and anxiety are not our portion, but God's peace is.”

Actor, singer and podcaster Dennis Quaid shares about the faith that was instilled into his life at any early age by his mother, and the special song he wrote for her that appeared in the film “I Can Only Imagine.” He also gives us a peek into his routine while confined at home during the Pandemic, including taking the opportunity to be present with God through prayer, Bible reading and connection with friends and loved ones.

Olympic softball player and mom of three Jennie Finch shares her prayer of making the most of the time we have together; as many of us continue to shelter at home. Her hope is that God will reveal dreams we never knew we had before. She also gives tips on how her family has coped during the pandemic and how the ups and downs of a career in softball prepared her for this experience. Jennie encourages us to cling to God’s promises and through calmness and stillness, discover the joy He provides.

Parenting expert Dr. Meg Meeker joins our Peace in Uncertain Times series to talk about parenting during a crisis. She shares ways we can give our fears about COVID to Christ and guide our children well, despite the turmoil of this season. Meg reminds us that we can be free of the pressure to be a perfect parent and instead be one that our kids truly need: by seeking ways to be peaceful and finding the simple joys in this time. (PLUS some handy tips on how to handle the kids when they are fighting!!)

Brett Swayn, Executive Chef of the Cookery in Nashville, TN is one of the people on the front lines, helping others during times of crisis. He shows us what can happen when we invest in each other, invest in our world, and invest in prayer; using this time to strengthen our hearts and come closer together as God’s people.

Children’s book author and musician Ellie Holcomb (and her kiddos!) join our Peace in Uncertain Times series. Ellie shares ways they are connecting as a family while staying at home.
